GET READY TO JUDGE
GET READY TO JUDGE: In preparation for hosting the National Science Fair 2025, the National Commission on Research, Science and Technology (NCRST), in collaboration with the education, innovation and youth ministry, successfully conducted a judges training workshop in Rehoboth this month.
This important initiative was made possible through the support of Debmarine Namibia and co-sponsor Momentum Metropolitan Namibia Empowerment Trust.
The workshop brought together 110 participants from all 14 regions of Namibia. Its primary objective was to equip judges with the necessary skills and knowledge to conduct a fair, ethical and consistent evaluation process across all stages of the science fair. The training also aimed to align judging practices with national standards, promote objectivity, and ensure that the assessment of learners’ projects adheres to international best practices.
