Treat returning defectors fairly - Shaningwa

Swapo party secretary general Sophia Shaningwa has urged party members to embrace returning members as full and equal members, saying those who previously joined opposition parties should not be treated differently. Speaking at a welcoming ceremony for new and returning members in Rundu on Saturday, Shaningwa said the returnees should be treated as “assets” to the party and deployed in campaigns, membership drives and efforts to generate ideas for the political and economic development of the Kavango regions.
