Lady Pohamba appoints Baronice Hans as new CEO
Lady Pohamba Private Hospital (LPPH) has appointed former Bank Windhoek managing director Baronice Rashida Hans as its new CEO, effective 1 September.
The hospital also announced the appointment of emergency medicine specialist Dr Marsha Koekemoer as clinical oversight specialist.
Hans, a chartered accountant (Namibia), takes over the reins after leading Bank Windhoek from 2016 to 2025.
Hans said she was honoured to lead one of Namibia’s leading private healthcare institutions.
“LPPH is an institution that Namibians trust with their lives, and that is a responsibility I do not take lightly. My goal is simple: that every patient who walks through LPPH’s doors receives world-class care and that this institution grows stronger with each passing year,” she said.
Dr Koekemoer, an emergency medicine specialist with 12 years of clinical and governance experience, has worked at the hospital for nine years.
