Windhoek International School principal Margarete Reiff (57) was recently admitted to Lady Pohamba Private Hospital after being seriously injured when she was assaulted by four men in Pioneers Park and robbed of her vehicle and other belongings.
Reiff went for a walk with her dogs early in the morning when the men attacked her on her way back to her vehicle on the corner of Lardner-Burke and Mostert streets.
According to Sean Naudé of Namibia Marshall Rangers, who took Reiff to hospital, she was punched in the face so badly that she had to get stitches.
The men robbed her of her personal belongings and forced her to give them the PIN to her bank card. They then drove away in her white Suzuki Jimny (registration number N61300W).
