Joining forces with musicians from across the globe, well-known Namibian saxophonist Suzy Eises will entertain her followers with a collaborative Instagram live tonight at 20:30.
The seven musicians, from South Africa, Mozambique, Nigeria, Kenya and the United States of America, are “women I follow on Instagram who I have been recently communicating with,” Eises told tjil.

The power of social media
Eises has posted a number of videos on social media, garnering attention from several big names.
On working with international stars, the saxophonist said collaborations in the pipeline include Thandiswa Maswai, Oskido, DJ Sbu, Busiswa, Prince Kaybee and Wizkid.
She added that other international stars who have publicly lauded her talent include South Africa’s Moonchild Sannelly and America’s Masego as well as Stefflon Don and Maleek Berry, both from the UK.
“I am currently working with Vigro Deep, another South African DJ and music producer.
“Most of these collaborations might only begin later in 2020 and some from 2021 onwards due to the lockdown and their schedules,” Eises said.
