Shoprite/Checkers contributes to education
Shoprite/Checkers Namibia awarded five students N$10 000 each towards their education. My Zone invited these students into the Namibia Media Events Studio on Friday to get to know them and their study plans. Karen Smith, the divisional human resource officer for Shoprite/Checkers, says they believe in the potential of young people, thus the reason for further investing in them. “Our youth should always be a priority as they are our future leaders. We need to believe in them in order to keep on inspiring others,” she said.
