Pupkewitz Megabuild expands in Outapi, Walvis

Pupkewitz Megabuild’s new branch in Outapi, managed by Lisias Matheus, is excited to bring a wide range of products to the North with a product line more than 2 500.
This not only offers convenience and accessibility to the local community - the new branch has provided jobs and training opportunities to all its staff.
Matheus is part of the graduate intern programme at Pupkewitz and is testament to what can be achieved when young graduates grab the opportunities the private sector offers.
Megabuild Outapi has the youngest team at any of the company’s branches countrywide, an important step to empowering Namibia’s youth. Matheus summed it up perfectly when he encouraged the youth who wish to be in leadership positions in their careers, to build a consistent mode of accountability and responsibility. This he says, is a defined prerequisite.

Demand for Megabuild’s unique and varied product lines that serve the homeowner, homemaker and business alike has grown and the group has revamped and broadened its offering in Walvis Bay, expanding its branch that first opened in 1962.
The Walvis Bay branch will celebrate its 60th in style and support the group’s ethos of customer service through excellence. Clients now have a modern and refreshing shopping experience, catering to their every need.
The store in Walvis Bay has a floor space of 2 500m2 with several new departments, including SpecTiles, which has its own showroom. Design items and ideas, as well as a smorgasbord of imported interior products are now available to coastal customers, along with expert advice and guidance.
The new Garden Centre at Megabuild Walvis Bay offers a turnkey solution from a wide variety of plants, fertilisers, planters, irrigation solutions, water-saving options, compost tumblers, gardening tools, garden sheds and even patio furniture.
All these products are backed up by well-trained staff to advise clients on the best possible purchase. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the coffee shop next to the Garden Centre, to plan the next project.
