Power-Power announces tour
Boxing promoter Risto Ashikoto has released tour dates for the Power-Power Development and Boxing Academy, with the first scheduled for February.

Power-Power Development and Boxing Academy has plans to host its first ever regional tour tournament in Katima Mulilo next month.
Boxing promoter Risto 'Pac Man' Ashikoto says the event forms part of their 2020 development plan.
It will see senior and junior boxers trading leather for top honours and bragging rights.
“We have embarked on a journey to unearth young boxing gems and we are starting with the Zambezi Region.
“This is to make sure that young aspiring boxers from that region get an opportunity to showcase their talent.
“There are so many young boxers out there who want to fight but do not have the chance because they live in remote areas.
“It is therefore Power-Power Development and Boxing Academy's desire to bring boxing to their backyards,” Ashikoto said.
The promoter called on corporate Namibia to sponsor the academy throughout their journey to find and groom young boxers.
Katima Mulilo will not be the academy's only stop, with plans to stage a tournament in Ondangwa by 25 April.
“Our plan is to invite all four northern regions to be present at the competition slated for April.”
The academy will then head to the coast where they aim to stage another tournament in Walvis Bay on 29 June.
The //Karas Region can also expect a visit by 29 August in Keetmanshoop.
“On 16 October, there will be an international fitness day and we are planning to celebrate the day by hosting a fitness expo.
“We are planning to invite one of SADC's amateur boxing teams to a friendly boxing tournament with the Power-Power team.”
Local entrepreneurs will also be invited to the fitness expo to showcase their products.
