Police on trail of deadly robbers
Omusati police are requesting for public assistance to help apprehend armed robbers who stormed Pep Store at Onandjaba in Okalongo and shot a male guard dead this morning.
Deputy commissioner Josua Shipateko confirmed the incident. Shipateko said police officers have been deployed and are still busy in the field.
The exact number of the robbers is not known as they shot the security guard who was collecting the money and drove away with the security company's van and an unspecified amount of money it was carrying.
“We are still busy driving around for clues. If anyone can assist the police please they must call any police officer or contact me on 0812768818," Shipateko said.
