Ndafoluma reigns supreme in SA

World Boxing Organisation Africa middleweight champion Lukas ‘Demolisher’ Ndafoluma says he will continue dismantling opponents until he gets a world title shot.
The boxer said this following his hard-fought victory over Angola’s Cristiano Ndombassy in South Africa, which also meant a successful title defence.
It was not an easy fight for the boxer, who came up against a composed-looking Ndombassy who took him till the 12th round.
“I will continue to prove that this is my time to shine because I have been waiting for such moments for a very long time.
“This was a sweet victory for me because I had to dig deep to get the victory given my opponent was not easy.
“Right now, I dare anyone in my division to try because I am ready to demolish and fight like a beast,” Ndafoluma said.
MTC Salute Academy lauded their boxer in statement and are also expected to hold a press conference today.
“Lukas Ndafoluma had to put in a full day at the office to earn a hard-fought victory in his first title defence.
“Ndafoluma fought Ndombassy over 12 rounds to earn a unanimous decision from the judges.
“Ndafoluma looked composed, handled his jab well to keep his opponent at bay and threw powerful combinations and showing good experience to win a hard-fought victory,” the statement reads.
MTC Salute Academy also acknowledged Ndombassy had a strong and powerful bout.
“But he threw wild punches that often missed and lacked accuracy, however looked extremely dangerous till the last round.
“At the end he was just not good enough for Ndafoluma who claimed victory and will hopefully improve his WBO ranking in the middleweight division.”
Immanuel Josef pulled off an astonishing victory by winning the WBO Africa Flyweight title against Sihle Jelwana from South Africa for the vacant WBO Africa title.
“His victory was impressive and he looks like a promising fighter in this division. Tomas Shifiona also did Namibia proud by claiming victory over Sange Ngoza over 6 rounds.”
