The MTC HopSol Youth Soccer League organisers have postponed the league.
This follows President Hage Geingob's announcement on Wednesday that Namibia will revert back to stage three of the lockdown regulations due to the increasing numbers of the coronavirus pandemic.
“We have decided to postpone all league games until the end of August to ensure that we are in line with all health and safety protocols.
“We shall communicate in due course how we plan the remainder of the league and provide a plan of action,” the organisers said.
The leaders of the youth league will be meeting with their sponsors to discuss the current challenges the league faces.
