Fashion with a passion to make everyone feel like a model
After a successful Swimsuit Fashion Show last year, supermodel Meriam Kaxuxwena better known as MK promised to showcase yet another extra-ordinary show on October 29.
According to MK, this will not just be another show, but rather something Namibians have never seen before. “My lingerie is not the usual lingerie you see in shop, it''s different and the material is of high quality. The production was done in Brazil, some people say they define sexy and for those who have not seen it yet, come to the show and witness it,” she said.
MK says that the show was postponed a number of times, because the production took long due to the quantity and quality of the product. “I currently have 9000 pieces ( of lingerie). I will be selling my pieces all over the country. There will be an international model from Barbados by the name of Lilian Brower as well as local models. This show includes all kinds of models, because I want to show that anyone can be model, it all depends on one''s confidence level,” she said.
MK says her show will be done with international professionalism. “People only see Victoria''s Secret on TV, but I''m bringing it to Windhoek.
This is just the beginning, because I want modelling and fashion to be seen as a career and a business,” she added. The Lingerie''s consists of lace bras, feminine pieces which will captivate the audience''s attention at first sight.
The Show will start at 19h00. There will be performances by Sally, Sunny Boy and Young T.
Tickets for the show are available at Computicket – ordinary tickets for N$100, and N$300 for VIP. Tickets will also be available at the door and at Antonio''s Arts. The Lingerie will be available for sale at the show for N$300.
