Man dies in accident after killing car owner

Bad luck gripped a man who died in a road accident moments after killing the owner of the car he had just stolen.
The 29-year-old man identified as Eric Izaaks died after crashing a car in the Schlip district of the Hardap Region on Tuesday.
Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi said Izaaks was driving the vehicle of a man he had allegedly killed at Farm Gobosoab.
Izaaks and 42-year-old Martin Romans Pfaller were seen working together on the farm earlier that day. It is alleged that he beat Pfaller to death with a wooden pole before dragging his body almost eight metres from the crime scene and setting it on fire.
Pfaller's family identified him by a bracelet he was wearing.
Izaaks allegedly fled with the victim's rifle, a laptop and other unspecified items which he loaded into Pfaller's vehicle.
He overturned the vehicle just six kilometres from the crime scene and died on the spot.
