In an interview with tjil, model and musician Rowan Summer revealed that he is currently working on an EP with the other half of musical duo LOVE, and that they plan to release it in March or April.
He said their latest single is being received positively by their fans, adding that it has done well in Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Colombia thus far.
“A lot of fans have been sharing the song on different social media platforms and they are engaging very well with the dance challenge we put out as well.”
Asked how he is incorporating Namibian sonics into their music, Summers said he believes the Namibian sound is naturally a part of him, as he was born and raised here.
“I strive to be a better singer and performer every day and I do consider the Namibian sound in my unique way.
“I’m not trying to follow in the footsteps of someone else but rather setting the path for my own journey,” he said.
Well connected
Besides their own music, he said as a band, they have a lot contacts in the music industry. Summers listed that they also do composition, vocal direction, mixing, mastering, uploading of artists’ songs and playlist placement.
“If you need help, assistance or guidance in any of those aspects, we would be more than welcome to help with our services in Namibia,” he said.
