The long wait for exam results is almost over. Grade 11 and 12 National Senior Secondary Certificate learners – both higher and ordinary level – will be able to access their results just past midnight on Friday, 5 February.
This was confirmed by the education ministry’s executive director Sanet Steenkamp.
While there has been some confusion regarding the printing of exam results, Namibia Media Holdings (NMH) - in collaboration with Newsprint, InTouch Interactive Marketing and Dynamic Mobile Solutions - has confirmed the results will be printed and distributed as usual.
“We will ensure that the results are shared to all Namibians via our online, social media, mobile as well as print media platforms. The printed copies will reflect the exam numbers and results of each candidate per school,” Albe Botha, the CEO of NMH, said.
No names
However, learners’ names will not be published this time around, so they will have to make use of their candidate numbers to see how they fared in the exams.
“Learners will be able to calculate their admission points for higher education admission on our platforms,” Botha said.
He added that learners will be able to send their student number to 99099 to get their results, and can buy a copy of the printed results on the same day.
For more information, learners are encouraged to engage with NMH on q.my.na/results.
