Keeping it real
Hello tjil readers, I hope you guys had a beautiful festive season in the company of your friends and family and, of course, good entertainment. On our first entertainment page for the year, I want to touch on the importance of networking.
A lot of people have the talent and the skill in the entertainment space, but the last thing missing is their network. I see creatives get their foot in the door all the time for jobs and gigs others are qualified for just because they know someone.
As we begin a new year, I urge creatives to expand their network. It is important to have strategic relationships in show business; however, do not use people for the sake of networking. Be genuine, sincere, do not compromise the quality of your work and you will see your brand blossom.
