Keeping it real

Michael Kayunde
Lately, I have realised certain aspects of my interviewing style have seeped into different areas of my life, and in a significant way. I have evolved from a B-level communicator and listener to an A when dealing with friends, family and giving my opinions on matters in the entertainment industry.

I say this because this week has been a busy one on Twitter for Namibian music. As much as these dialogues are good for entertainment, the debates sow division amongst us and the industry does not need that right now. We are more powerful together than apart.

Let’s learn how to word our remarks when commenting on matters involving others without offending them, even when the remark is constructive criticism.
