Keeping it real

22 May 2020 | Art and Entertainment

For those who are back at work, the long weekend is here and entertainers and media houses are making sure that we are entertained in the comfort of our homes. Gazza announced this week that tomorrow, 23 May, he will host the second edition of the #GmpLiveSessions.

Beyond our borders, MTV Base Africa, in partnership with YouTube, will host the Africa Day Benefit Concert.

Speaking of the benefit concert – for a continental show, it’s not fair that the artists on the line-up are only from a few African countries. I don’t know what criteria they used in drawing up the list of featuring artists and personalities, but it’s very unfortunate that many African countries aren’t represented.
