MTC Salute Boxing Academy fighter Nathanael Kakololo says he has done all his homework and is be eager to rejuvenate his career in a day’s time.

The boxer, who will come up against Johannes Niinkoti at the Building Champions Boxing Bonanza tomorrow night, said the fight will pave his way to revival following his last defeat.

“I am ready and made sure that I do the homework by preparing harder as I step in the ring.

“In boxing, you will always have those tough moments but that is when your strength and character is determined.

“I am not giving up as a boxer and I will also make sure that I prove to my fans that I am still capable of much more,” Kakololo said.

Something to prove

Coming into the fight with a point to prove after two consecutive defeats in Ukraine and Russia, the Salute bosses plan to set former ABU champion back on track to win a world title.

The event will take place at the Roman Catholic Hospital Hall, with tickets going for N$200, while VIP tables are N$10 000 for 10 seated guests and meals and drinks included.

Sponsored by MTC, the bonanza will be Salute’s first card with a much bigger number of spectators this year.

Salute chairman Kiriat Kamanya is adamant that the fighters will produce top-class boxing contests on the night.

“It is going to be a great spectacle because the boys are fired up and ready to pounce on each other.

“We invite spectators to come through and witness a great number of talented boxers unleash their protentional,” he said.

Undercards

Albinus ‘Danny Boy’ Felesianu will battle Mathew Kandara while Jonas Matheus takes on Salatiel Moses.

Sacky Amutjaa will trade leather with David Haufiku while Lazarus ‘Keylock’ Shaningwa takes on Andreas Nghinaunye.

Bernard Bernard is set to confront Filemon Amwaama as Lazarus Namalambo takes on Andreas Mwenyo, with Fillemon Nghutenanye fighting Mathew Nghikevali.
