Hunter’s Namibia, tjil celebrate talent with superb finale
The season finale of the exciting Hunter’s tjil sessions is scheduled for Tuesday, 23 November, at 18:00, and will be broadcast live on Namibian Sun’s Facebook page.

It is very hard to fault the Hunter’s tjil sessions - throughout its first season, the show has been characterised by sublime production, a healthy balance of genres, the best in upcoming and established talent accompanied by a live band on stage.
The final leg of the show will feature live performances by Tswazis, Kevo Maro, Slickartie, Waters, SHE and Khadijah. As per usual, the performing artists will be accompanied by a live band.
Hunter’s tjil sessions is a partnership between Hunter’s Namibia and Namibian Sun’s tjil rooted in allowing Namibians to continue enjoying the magic of music, especially during a time when event organisers are urged to make use of online tools to entertain the masses.
“It signifies a lot for me as an artist to be given such a platform to showcase my art. I am grateful to Namibian Sun and Hunter’s Namibia for this platform,” Kevo Maro said.
“This experience has grown me as an artist. I learnt how to perform with a band. For this forthcoming show, expect an electrifying performance and I might perform an unreleased song,” he added.
‘Never gets old’
Meanwhile, Slickartie shared his excitement about being featured on the show for the second time, saying it never gets old and makes him feel great about himself and the work he puts out.
“It makes me wake up and write more music because being featured twice means I outdid myself the first time; people couldn't get enough and now we have to do it one more time,” the singer said.
“It’s such an amazing feeling and I promise not to disappoint on this next event. I promise to give an international level performance because I feel honoured to be featured twice,” he added.
