Hanno Rumpf dies

Former Namibian ambassador to Germany Hanno Rumpf has passed on, aged 60. Rumpf has served as permanent secretary for a number of ministries since Namibia’s independence. Prior to Namibia’s independence, Rumpf was among a small number of white Namibians who left the country to join Swapo in exile.
