Mr Diamonds is aligning his brand to the people who support him.
In Setswana there's an idiom 'Ina lebe seromo', which means what you name a person is what they become.
After giving himself a name that would lead to his success being celebrated, Mr Diamonds is working hard to realise his dreams, both in music and business space.
While he is doing well on the music front, the musician has decided to venture into the business world with the launch of his Big Papi Beard Oil.
He told tjil this business venture is another way of connecting with his fans on a more personal level.
“I enjoy music, but I also want to uniquely connect with my fans through my entrepreneurial endeavours. Others do it with merchandise, I want to take it a step further, and that is why I have Big Papi Beard Oil.
“Next year I am going into the make-up business and maybe have lipstick by Big Papi. I might also venture into the adult industry too by having sex toys by Big Papi,” said Mr Diamonds.
While he is enjoying the positive response to his latest music video Hatulongo, Mr Diamonds announced he is working on new music.
Even though he has confirmed that he won't put out an album anytime soon, he teased an extended play (EP) that will possibly be released early next year.
“Right now we are just pushing the music that is already out there, but I have been recording a lot of material that will possibly be packaged in the form of an EP early next year,” said Mr Diamonds.
