Nasionale kompetisie se beste skryfstukke bekroon

Die 2020 nasionale Griffelkompetisie, geborg deur Waltons, het weereens leerlinge vanoor die ganse land ’n geleentheid gegee om met woorde te woeker en hul kreatiwiteit vlerke te gee.

Vanjaar het ses skole dwarsoor Namibië deelgeneem en 24 kortkuns- en 27 digkunsstukke is ontvang.

“Baie dankie aan elke deelnemer wat vanjaar deelgeneem het, terwyl julle boonop die nuwe vaardigheid van aanlyn onderrig moes bemeester,” sê Nicolette Harmse, ’n onderwyseres by Windhoek Afrikaanse Privaatskool en die Griffel-organiseerder.

Al die skryfstukke is anoniem beoordeel. Beoordelaars wat betrokke was, is dr. Nicolene Woest, Petronella Genis, Annalie van der Merwe, Henriëtte van Wyk, Ina van der Walt, Susan Alexander, Alte Schoombee en Lloyd Zandberg.

“Ons is dankbaar vir elke beoordelaar se toewyding en vernuf waarmee die skryfstukke beoordeel is.”

Die Waltons nasionale Griffel skryfkompetisie word sedert 2007 deur Windhoek Afrikaanse Privaatskool (WAP) gedryf met die strewe om kreatiewe skrywers aan ’n groter leserspubliek bloot te stel.

Só WERK DIT

Harmse sê die leerlinge kies self ’n tema onder die genres kortkuns wat byvoorbeeld beskrywing, mymering, dagboekinskrywing, dialoog, digkuns, skets of miniverhale insluit.

In elke genre kon deelnemers in die volgende ouderdomskategorieë inskryf: graad 6-7 (senior primêr) maksimum 500 woorde; grade 8 en 9 (junior sekondêr) maksimum 700 woorde; graad 10–12 (senior sekondêr) maksimum 1000 woorde; digkuns graad 5-7.

Die woordbeperking is net op die genre kortkuns van toepassing.

Die kontantpryse op die spel was N$1 000 vir die eerste plek, N$700 vir die tweede plek en N$500 vir derde.

Alle vakhoofde van die staat- en privaatskole in Namibië landswyd is deur middel van ’n inligtingstuk en inskrywingsvorms op hoogte gebring, terwyl die wenners vandeesmaand aangewys is. Beoordelaars lewer skriftelike terugvoer wat dan aan die deelnemende skole beskikbaar gestel word.

Vanjaar word die skryfstukke van die eerste drie plekke weer op DIE NAMIB SKRYF, ’n kuberblad en platform vir veral ontluikende skrywers, geplaas.

Graad 8-9

1. Die kroon deur Fanie Gous van Windhoek Hoërskool.

2. Vry, maar gevange deur Marelee Ferreira van Windhoek Gimnasium.

Graad 6-7

2. Die held van Kreupelhoutkasteel deur Christo Genis van Pionierspark, Windhoek.
