As summer continues heating up, Namibian musicians across all genres have started dropping fire to complement the season, while others address pertinent issues. This Fresh and Popping edition explores the latest songs this week.

Vundu Vundu – Manxebe featuring Luno Dotsoul
New Kwaito star Manxebe released visuals to the Luno Dotsoul-assisted track Vundu Vundu on Saturday. Manxebe has been dropping fire singles throughout the year and with his latest offering, he shows no sign of stopping.
Known for doing big numbers, the music video - shot by Sodo, who has been filming most of Manxebe’s visuals - has garnered over 14 000 views on YouTube.

Omalaka – Franklin and Dee’A featuring Ally Tobias
Omalaka is the Franklin and Dee’A’s most recent single lifted off their current album, Don’t Worry About It. Ally Tobias delivers a soothing chorus while the duo delivers well-polished raps exploring various societal issues.
The video was directed by Dion and the views keep growing by the day.

Permit Acoustic – Sean Blizzy
This Amapiano song is off Sean Blizzy’s latest album, Pandemic Zone. Given how dominant Amapiano has been, Permit Acoustic has the potential to go big. Featuring eight other songs, Blizzy’s album is available on Donlu Africa and via order at 081 639 1969.
