Namibian musicians and music videos directors continue to elevate the standard by producing quality music videos. Here are the hottest music videos for this month’s Fresh and Popping edition

‘Maak Stof’ – Skrypt

In November 2020, award-winning rapper Skrypt dropped his first EP ‘A Wise Man Once Said’, which included features from KP Illest and Waters. Last week, he dropped the long-awaited music video for ‘Maak Stof’, which is the first official video released from the project. “Maak stof is something I grew up hearing from people. It always motivated me to go for my dreams, no matter what, so this song is just a reminder to everyone working on their dreams... maak stof!” he says.

The song is produced by Rob Kelly, written by Skrypt and the video was shot, edited and directed by RFC Creative Agency

‘Upakile’ – Kurzca ft Costa Titch

RTE artist Kurzca recently released her latest song and video featuring Costa Titch from South Africa. Keeping it sexy and true to the Oranjemund singer’s persona, the video is dominated by visuals of her pole-dancing in a nightclub.

Delilah – Florito

Florito is another artist who has a fire music video out at the moment in the form of his latest single, ‘Delilah’. The video was shot and directed by Those Up Town Boyz. Before going to print the video had 2 470 views on YouTube.

*Music videos featured on Fresh and Popping are also featured on Namibian Sun’s music video countdown show, tjil Sessions, which airs every Friday at 19:00 on Namibian Sun’s Facebook page.
