Four nabbed for rhino poaching
Four suspects have been arrested in the most recent poaching incident on the farm in the Otjozondjupa Region in which several rhinos were shot and three have died. Spokesperson in the environment ministry, Romeo Muyunda confirmed that one black rhino was poached about two weeks ago on the same property and said this weekend another white rhino cow was also shot and died due to her injuries. Her five-month-old calf also died. Four other rhinos were wounded and two were injured critically. This brings the total rhinos poached this to 30, excluding the calf, whose death the ministry does not consider as poaching.
