Fit for Life awards beneficiaries
14 July 2020 | Youth
The Fit for Life, Fit for Work programme was started in 2009 by local businesswomen to inspire and empower young people with skills they can use beyond high school on their journey to finding the best job for them.
“We offer basic life skills courses such as creating a CV and preparing oneself for an interview. We also help them to do extensive research about a certain company before they apply for a vacancy.
“We try to help young people with learning work ethics and also how to further enrich themselves,” said Hazel Master, the programme's project trainer.
The two-week course is free of charge and is aimed and fully equipping Namibian youth to become great employees, and even better employers.
