Festive sporting fun with Bank Windhoek

Bank Windhoek will host the annual Summer Festival this holiday season for visitors to the coast from 6 to 21 December.

The festival has lined up a wide variety of entertainment and activities for holidaymakers, who plan to celebrate the festive season at the coast.

Kehat Beukes Memorial Chess Tournament

Chess enthusiasts can look forward to the Namibia Chess Federation's Bank Windhoek Kehat Beukes Memorial Chess Tournament taking place in Swakopmund this Saturday and Sunday. The annual tournament, which will be staged at the Swakopmund municipal conference centre, aims to attract international travellers and the best of the local chess players to compete for top honours over nine rounds.

Swakopmund Coastal Senior Open Golf Day

The tournament, will take place at the Rossmund Golf Course on 11 and 12 December.

Henties Bay Open Golf Day

The annual Henties Bay Open Golf Day will be played over 36 holes and is a highlight for all golf fanatics.

The event will take place on Saturday, 21 December at the Henties Bay Golf Club.

Namib Tiger Trails Cycling

Bank Windhoek, in collaboration with The Lighthouse Group, will host the much-anticipated mountain biking event at the lunar landscape on 21 December at Tiger Reef in Swakopmund. The event will see cyclists compete over distances of 25km, 40km and 80km on a circular track. The bank also has also lined up musical events and many other fun activities for December at the coast.
