Over the past few years, a number of Namibian footballers have gotten married to their beloved partners, with their wedding ceremonies proving to be beautiful occasions.

Brave Warriors and Bidvest Wits star winger Deon Hotto is keeping mum on his wedding, despite recently sharing a photo of him and his fiancee, Sasha, with the words 'The Hotto Matrimony' on it.
The black and white photo of the couple, wearing luxurious white bath robes, sports what seems to be a wedding date.
But when approached by the Namibian Sun Sports Desk for more details about the wedding, the 29-year-old Swakopmunder did not respond.
According to earlier reports, the high school sweethearts got engaged in 2018.
Only good things
Several of his national teammates also kept mum on the possibility of the nuptials, while Benson Shilongo said though he hadn't been informed about a wedding, it would be a joyous occasion. “He is quite naughty. He is always cracking jokes, but overall, he is a good guy. He likes looking neat and never leaves his hair brush behind because of his waves.
“He also always gets his teammates in trouble because he teases and mimics coaches,” Shilongo said.
Adidas ambassador
For the Warriors, Hotto has 19 caps and three goals.
He has five goals and four assists for Wits, where he is contracted until 30 June 2021.
Described by teammates as a determined and focused player, Hotto shoulders great responsibilities.
The footballer has joined the likes of five-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi, Mohamed Salah of Liverpool and Manchester United's Paul Pogba who all don three-striped boots for their matches as football ambassadors for one of the largest sportswear brands in the world, Adidas.
Under the terms of the agreement, Hotto will serve as the face of Adidas in Namibia, while receiving Adidas merchandise, apparel and footwear on a monthly basis.
In April, the Sowetan reported that the Namibian is valued at N$24.4 million.
He was also rated the second most valuable foreign star in the South African premier division.
