Local boxer Sakaria 'Desert Storm' Lukas will step into the ring against Malawi’s Yamikikani Mkandawire 'at the Rising Stars of Africa' event tonight at the Paragon Crescent Suites in Windhoek.

Lukas, undefeated after 22 fights, has another daunting task at hand tonight and that is to extend his unbeaten record against Malawian Mkandawire who has 15 fights, seven wins, one draw and seven losses.

“The fans will get what they have been missing,” Lukas said.

In a flyweight fight over six rounds, Matias Hamunyela will make his pro debut against Mathew Nghikevali.

In a bantamweight fight over four rounds, Flame ‘Special One’ Nangolo will face David Johannes.

In a welterweight fight over four rounds, Alfeus Shaanika is set to face Gideon Iyambo.

Also on the card is a lightweight fight over six rounds featuring David Shinuna against Kuthwano Ogaketse of Botswana and a super featherweight fight over six rounds in which Sakaria Sheehama will take on Steven Bagwasi of Botswana.
