Boost for Ilotu Cosmetics
The Namibia Business Innovation Institute (NBII) Mobile Lab and Sanlam Namibia recently revealed Mareka Masule, the owner of Ilotu Cosmetics, as the winner of the fourth Sanlam Innovation Works competition. Mareka walked away with N$25 000, which she will use to expand her business and take it to the next level. “Entrepreneurship for any economy plays a crucial role for poverty eradication, economic development, income-generation and improving the standard of living of employers, employees and families,” Elizabeth Nailenge, marketing and communication consultant at Sanlam, said. It’s against this background that Sanlam and NBII introduced this initiative. In the photo is Bernice Ndungaua from NBII, Nailenge, Masula and Edwin Kavihuha from NBII. PHOTO OCTAVIA TSIBES
