Not new to the Namibia Tourism Expo stage, award-winning stand-up comedian Mich Gaoseb, popularly known as Big Mitch, is ready to make you laugh.
Over the years, Big Mitch has put out distinctive work that has made him a household name in the comedy space, with his most celebrated works in recent years being the character Jesus van Keetmans and the ‘Be Safe, It Might Hit Closer To Home Than You Think’ road safety campaign.
“For the tourism expo, I will be talking about how we can recover from the pandemic, what we can look forward to and how well we can be prepared for any future pandemics,” he said.
‘Watch this space’
Enthusiastic about the symbiotic relationship between the tourism and entertainment industry, Big Mitch believes its pertinent for these industries to work together.
“Facilities in the tourism sector can always book entertainers to market our country to the world.”
With his energetic spirit, Big Mitch urged those who can make it to the expo to show up in numbers and support exhibitors from both the tourism and entertainment industries.
Meanwhile, on what he has coming up for the remainder of the year, the comedian kept tight-lipped, saying: “I am still thinking of my own events. You will find out when the time is ready, watch this space”.
