BA and Young African chase top spot
The MTC Namibia Premier League (NPL) was an exciting affair this weekend as teams are still battling it out to top the log before the first leg ends.
Black Africa, who were previously sitting in third spot followed by Young African, won all their weekend matches and collected valuable points.
Arnold Subeb, assistant coach of Black Africa, said they are very happy with the results. “We are in transformation as we took over from other coaches and are putting in new changes. Playing styles have changed. Players are reacting very well. This coming weekend will determine where we are going,” he said.
Black Africa beat Blue Waters 1-0 on Saturday and Eleven Arrows 4-0 on Sunday.
Gobabis-based Young African also beat Blue Waters 4-0 on Sunday but drew 0-0 against Eleven Arrows on Saturday.
