Bail of N$5 000 was granted to Desmond Derrick Fick (61) by the Swakopmund Magistrate's Court last week.
He is accused of attempted rape and indecent assault involving an 18-year-old woman whom he had allegedly lured to his house by promising her a modelling job.
Magistrate Paula Nelao Brown warned Fick not to make contact with the complainant directly or indirectly.
Fick was denied bail by Magistrate Brown when he made his first court appearance on 5 August.
According to the police, the alleged assault took place at a house in Swakopmund between June and July this year.
It is alleged that Fick lured the complainant to his house under the pretext of preparing her for a modelling job. He allegedly touched the woman's private parts, tried to remove her underwear and took nude pictures of her.
The case has been postponed to 16 November.
