Die uitbreek van Covid-19 het talle verandering vir almal mee gebring. Skole kon nie aangesig tot aangesig klas gee nie en leerlinge moes oor die internet skoolgaan.

Grootfontein Agri College het hierdie uitdaging met die hulp van Google Classroom aangevat. Leerling het hul klasroosters gevolg nes soos hulle by die skool sou.

Aanlyn klasse het ook nuwe uitdagings vir beide leerlinge en onderwysers meegebring. Indien ’n leerling vrae of hulp nodig gehad het, was hul onderwysers nie naby gewees om onmiddellik hulle te ondersteun nie.

Onderwysers moes gebruik maak van ander metodes om klasse aan te bied. ’n Voorbeeld sluit in die oordra van inligting deur middel van video’s vanaf die internet. Party onderwysers het selfs video’s van hulself geneem waar hulle die inligting aan hulle leerlinge voorlees.

Onderwysers se vertroue in hul leerlinge was getoets toe die toetsreeks al nader gekruip het, maar die toetsreeks het vlot verloop en leerlinge se finale punte was uiteindelik ingedien.

Deur al dié struikelblokke kon onderwysers en leerling saamwerk om hul werk op datum te hou en bewys dat Covid-19 nie vir Grootfontein Agri College kan onderkry nie.
