14-year-old among three raped

A 14-year-old girl gave birth after she was allegedly raped at Okongo village in the Ohangwena region.
Yesterday’s police report indicated that the crime was committed in March 2021 but was only recently reported.
The girl was allegedly raped by a 25-year-old man, who will appear in court today.
Handicapped
In another rape case reported at Narraville, a 24-year-old mentally handicapped woman was allegedly raped on several occasions between December 2020 and March 2021.
It is alleged that the suspect invited the woman to his home, where he raped and impregnated her.
The complainant gave birth in December 2021. The suspect is known but has not yet been arrested.
Rape and robbery
At Ondangwa in the Oshana region, two men allegedly broke into a house and raped a woman (26) who was home alone.
They allegedly threatened the woman with a knife and also stole her television set.
A 28-year-old man was arrested and will appear before the Ondangwa Magistrate’s Court today.
The second suspect is still at large.
