CRAN Welcomes Pascal Haingura as Executive for Engineering and Technical Services

The Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia (CRAN) has appointed Pascal Haingura as its new Executive for Engineering and Technical Services, effective immediately. In this pivotal role, Haingura will oversee the management of technical resources, radio frequency spectrum, infrastructure sharing, technology standards and numbering resources, ensuring the delivery of efficient and reliable communication services across Namibia.A seasoned Information Technology professional, Haingura brings over 16 years of extensive experience in software engineering, data analytics, digital transformation, project management, IT operations, and infrastructure development. His leadership spans multiple sectors, including energy, finance, and academia, where he has successfully implemented IT strategies, managed departments and driven innovative technological solutions.Haingura holds an impressive academic portfolio, including a Master of Philosophy in Inclusive Innovation, a Master of International Business in Digital Transformation and Business Law, a Bachelor of Science Honours in Computer Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. He is also currently pursuing a Master of Informatics in Data Analytics at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST).Commenting on his appointment, Haingura said, “I am honoured to join CRAN and look forward to contributing to Namibia’s digital growth by strengthening our telecommunications and broadcasting infrastructure.
