Scorpions sting to victory at ISWB Sports Day

The International School of Walvis Bay came alive with energy, cheers and friendly rivalry at this year’s annual Sports Day. The school grounds transformed into a sea of vibrant colours as students, teachers and parents gathered to support their teams: the fierce Cobras and the determined Scorpions.

From the first whistle, the atmosphere was electric. Races, relays and field events showcased not only athletic talent but also true school spirit. The Cobras brought strong competition, but the Scorpions proved unstoppable, dominating both on the track and in the cheering stands.

The highlight of the day was the presentation of the Spirit Cup, awarded to the team with the loudest cheers, strongest unity and greatest determination. The Scorpions roared with pride as they lifted the cup, celebrating their passion and teamwork. To top it off, they were also crowned champions of the Sports Day, completing a well-deserved double victory.

Laughter, sportsmanship and camaraderie defined the event, reminding everyone that Sports Day is not just about winning, but about celebrating community and fun. One thing is certain: the Scorpions’ sting will be remembered for years to come!
