Head Boy and Head Girl

Halleluya Hamunyela

As head boy, I believe that true leadership is not about power or titles; it’s about service, example and growth. Every one of us has the potential to make a difference, no matter how small the action may seem. Leadership starts with discipline, respect and the courage to step forward even when things get tough.

I encourage each student to dream boldly, work hard, and never let fear stop you from achieving greatness. Mistakes will come, but they are simply lessons that shape us into stronger, wiser individuals. Together, as a school, we can create an environment where success is built on teamwork, kindness, and determination.

Let’s support one another, celebrate our victories and keep striving for excellence in everything we do. Remember, greatness begins with effort, and effort begins with you. Keep pushing, keep believing and keep leading with heart.

Anna Iiyambo

As head girl of Duneside High School, a dedicated athlete, and one of the school’s top five academic achievers, I have learned that success is built on discipline, perseverance and purpose. Achieving excellence requires more than talent; it demands consistency, resilience and a belief in one’s own potential.

To all young people striving for their goals: remember that challenges are not barriers but stepping stones toward growth. Each obstacle you overcome strengthens your character and shapes your path to success. Never underestimate the power of hard work and determination. Greatness is achieved not by chance but by choice: The choice to stay focused, to rise after setbacks, and to pursue your dreams with courage and integrity.

Let us continue to lead with confidence, inspire with kindness and work together toward a brighter, stronger future.
