Matter of fact

In our 8 August edition, a story under the heading ‘Namibians losing faith in religious leaders’ was accompanied by a photo of the ELCIN-GELC church in Swakopmund. We hereby place on record that the photo was used – and wrongly so – for illustrative purposes only and was in no way to suggest that the ELCIN-GELC church in Swakopmund or its leaders are corrupt. We regret our error of judgement and unreservedly apologise for the inconvenience the use of the photo may have caused.
