Namdock workers demand audience with CEO
Workers at Namdock in Walvis Bay on Wednesday morning held a gathering outside the Namdock premises and demanded an audience with the company's CEO, Albertus Kariko.
Led by the Namibia Public Workers Union (Napwu), the group wished to express their dissatisfaction on a range of burning matters such as salary discrepancies, discrimination and a lack of communication.
The workers accused the company of negligence and refusing to listen to their needs.
They were reportedly told Kariko is in Angola.
