Nine suicides reported in 3 days

The Namibian Police have confirmed nine suspected suicides reported across the country between 28 and 30 July.
The incidents occurred in various regions, including Windhoek, Aranos, Mururani, Okamatapati, Opuwo and Otjinene. The deceased included both men and women, aged between 19 and 59.
No suicide notes were recovered, and police confirmed that no foul play is suspected in any of the cases.
The high number of suicides has renewed calls to strengthen mental health awareness and improve access to psychosocial support services nationwide.
