Learner (15) hospitalised after pregnancy termination

A 15-year-old Grade 9 learner from Ngone Combined School in the Kavango East Region is receiving medical care at Rundu State Hospital after reportedly terminating a pregnancy in a school toilet and disposing of the foetus in a pit latrine.
The incident is believed to have occurred during school hours last week.

Kavango East crime investigations coordinator, Commissioner Bonifatius Kanyetu, confirmed the report.
No criminal case has been opened at this stage, and police investigations are ongoing.
