MTC Windhoek Fashion Week wraps up in style

The MTC Windhoek Fashion Week concludes today at Windhoek’s Maerua Mall, after four days celebrating fashion, art, culture and creativity. More than just glitz and glam, the event served as a platform to elevate local designers to a wider audience, from College of the Arts students to former MTC Fashion Week models turned designers, showcasing both emerging and established names in Namibia’s fashion scene. The runway also reflected a continental flair, featuring designers and guests from Angola, Zambia, South Africa and Botswana. Strengthening local industry ties, the event sparked a new partnership with The Kollab, a local fashion retailer that will stock select runway looks after the event concludes. PHOTOS: ESTER KAMATI
