Film enthusiasts: Enjoy a screening of 'Baxu and the Giants' on Thursday

Film enthusiasts can enjoy one of the breakout successes of Namibian cinema this Thursday evening!

A screening of director Florian Schott's 'Baxu and the Giants' will take place at 18:00 at the Ster-Kinekor cinema in the Maerua Shopping Centre as part of the Ibero-American Film Festival. Admission is free.

This short film was the first Namibian film on Netflix and boasts nine local and international awards, including the Canadian Cinematography Awards, awards from the Knysna Film Festival, the San Francisco Independent Short Film Festival, and three Namibian Theatre and Film Awards.
