6Five drops party anthem ‘6Load’ featuring MEGA
Namibian Afro-pop artist 6Five is generating buzz with his latest single ‘6Load’, a high-energy track featuring fellow Namibian artist MEGA. Released earlier this month, the song is already turning heads in the local music scene, earning praise for its catchy hook and dance-floor appeal.
In an interview with tjil, 6Five described the collaboration as “organic”, explaining that the two artists didn’t overthink the creative process. “It just flowed. We weren't trying to force a hit, we were just having fun in the studio, and that fun turned into a party anthem,” he said.
The release of ‘6Load’ marks another milestone in 6Five’s steady climb in the Namibian music industry. Though he emphasised that his current focus is on promoting the new single, 6Five couldn’t resist teasing what’s next: a follow-up track featuring Princelou Faragama, a Namibian artist currently based in Canada. “There’s more where this came from,” he hinted.

6Five has consistently aligned himself with top-tier talent in the Namibian music scene. From his earlier single ‘Make up ur mind’ featuring Page from the popular duo Ethnix to his new joint with MEGA, his portfolio is a testament to the power of collaboration. “It’s not just about making good music,” he told tjil.
“Collaboration helps us grow as artists and it’s good for the industry, too. We tap into each other’s audiences and build something bigger together.”
6Five has shared stages with heavyweight performers like Gazza and South Africa’s Moonchild and has performed at major events such as the IUM Cultural Festival and the Unam orientation week.

Though ‘6Load’ is making waves, 6Five’s musical journey didn’t start here. He broke onto the scene in 2018 with a string of music videos and performances, including ‘Roll One’ with Princelou Faragama.
