Nasty C and Tellaman lock in release date and 17-song tracklist for 'Ts and Cs Apply'

Nasty C recently took to social media to announce that the joint project will officially arrive on September 1.“Official Release Date is - September 1st. Independently releasing through both our entities, @Tallracks_xyz &amp; Select Play. Bold move.. but one that is very important to us. If you love me &amp; @TELLAMANWORLD.. if you enjoy our music together.. you’re gonna love this. Love you less,” he wrote.The rapper also shared the album’s official tracklist, confirming that the project will feature 17 songs.The announcement comes after the Durban duo gave fans a taste of what to expect with the release of four singles as a four-track EP on July 7, building the hype for what’s to come from one of South African hip hop’s favourite duo.The EP offers a glimpse into the world of “Ts and Cs Apply” and has become a favourite among fans. It opens with “Intro”, featuring radio personality AyandaMVP, who narrates what sounds like a radio show that plays on the album’s themes and title.From there, the project moves into “Call Me”, “Come Over” featuring Nigerian singer-songwriter Oxlade, before closing with “Sally’s Interlude”, giving listeners an early taste of the chemistry between Nasty C and Tellaman.Titled “Ts and Cs Apply”, the album plays on the phrase “Terms and Conditions Apply” while also using both artists’ initials.Embracing independenceAlongside confirming the release date, Nasty C also revealed that the album will be released independently through their respective labels, “Tall Racks” and “Select Play”.The move reflects what the rapper has long envisioned for this stage of his career. In a previous interview with IOL, Nasty C opened up about embracing independence and the creative freedom that comes with it.“Since I’m independent now, I can pretty much drop whatever I want, which is exciting. A lot of music, a lot of new content, a lot of collaborations, a lot of music videos. The Ivyson tour is coming up very soon,” he said.He also encouraged aspiring artists to enjoy the journey instead of only chasing success.“Have fun making music, have fun being the artist, and really enjoy the process from the ground up. Don’t only look forward to the times where you can spend all this money.“Really cherish all the moments from the moment you start. I find myself missing those days a lot. It’s not really a struggle, it’s the process.”When asked whether independence is the best route for upcoming artists, he said he believes it is, but stressed the importance of learning from experienced people in the industry.“I definitely would, provided that they still make connections with people who are either behind the scenes when it comes to record labels or people who are signed.“You can still get that knowledge secondhand. Be a student of the game, study it through and through. But yeah, definitely being independent is the way to go, in my opinion.”
