#JustIn: Rain clears, cold on the way
Some weather experts predict one of the first cold fronts for this winter could reach Namibia by the weekend, while the light rain that occurred over parts of Namibia this past weekend, will clear.
Cold conditions are expected to occur in the south of the country from Friday and then spread northwards until they pass the capital by Sunday.
The Namibia Hydrological Services in its latest report said satellite images show that widespread, light rain occurred over the central and southern parts of the country over the weekend, but no further rain is expected until May 16.
Meanwhile, temperatures are cooling, with a minimum of 9°C expected in the capital tomorrow, while the mercury can also drop as low as 10°C in Aus, Grootfontein, Omaruru, Rehoboth, Swakopmund and Walvis Bay.
