President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah is set to co-chair the fourth session of the Namibia-South Africa Bi-National Commission (BNC) summit with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa on Friday in Pretoria.

The summit follows senior officials' and ministerial meetings held this week and will review bilateral cooperation between the two countries, which is underpinned by more than 150 agreements.

The discussions will focus on trade, investment and economic integration, border management, infrastructure and connectivity, disaster management, defence and security, and broader regional, continental and global issues.

The Bi-National Commission is the highest permanent mechanism of cooperation through which Namibia and South Africa review and enhance their existing bilateral relations and cooperation.
