Man arrested for allegedly stabbing girlfriend to death in Ombili

City police said a woman was allegedly stabbed to death on Monday in Ombili following a domestic dispute. Spokesperson Marcelline Murapo said the suspect, believed to be the deceased’s boyfriend, went to her residence at around 13:00 demanding money and cellphones he had bought for her. He reportedly returned at about 18:00, when another argument erupted. During the altercation, the woman was stabbed and died at the scene. Murapo said the suspect was later arrested at Katutura State Hospital, where he had gone to seek medical treatment for injuries allegedly sustained during the incident.
